COMBOSA3D - Coloring Of Molecules Based On Sequence
Alignment
CONTINUE
-
COMBOSA3D colors protein structures using sequence alignment information.
It displays the structures using the Chime
plugin (version 2.0 or higher), which is currently available for Windows
95/98/NT and Macintosh from MDL Information Systems, Inc. On other
platforms COMBOSA3D can be used with the RasMol
visualization program (see the next page for more details).
-
Some of the original COMBOSA3D code has been incorporated into Eric Martz's
Protein Explorer. The Protein Explorer version of COMBOSA3D, called
MSA3D, offers additional features and a different user interface.
To access MSA3D, go to the Protein
Explorer home page and click on the colored molecule in the top left
corner.
