If the PDB file (or operation, e.g.
load 1sva.pdb FILTER "biomolecule 1")
runs out of java memory, a red message appears in Jmol
java.lang.OutOfMemoryError: Java heap space

This can be detected with 
jmolGetPropertyAsString("errormessage")
