makeResetSpt() (scripts.js) is called by the Reset links.

Version 3.8 and earlier:

reset is handled in doViewLink() in jcontrol.js (see resetNow).
It calls resetPrep() [jcontrol.js] which clears things.

The viewlink is generated in controls.js and calls makeView1Spt();
