Cytoscape is an open-source bioinformatics software platform for visualizing
molecular interaction networks and integrating these interactions with gene
expression profiles and other state data.

Version 2.0 Features:

For users:
-Load and save networks in SIF and GML formats
-Load and visualize gene expression data
-Visualize and lay out networks
-Display network data in various ways using powerful visual styles
-Network manager: easily organize multiple networks
-Bird's eye view summary of network
-Numerous plugins available for feature expansion and network analysis (more
coming soon)

Cytoscape is jointly developed by the groups of Benno Schwikowski (Pasteur
Institute, Paris), Trey Ideker (University of California San Diego), Chris
Sander (Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center) and Hamid Bolouri (Institute
of Systems Biology, Seattle).
