Okay, thanks everyone! I've already bought my laptop (I'm using it to type
this email), and I didn't partition it. I'll be downloading bioknoppix soon.

I've used the old knoppix before, actually; and one problem I had was that I
couldn't save my files on the hard drive, since it ran from the CD drive.
Instead I had to save everything on diskettes. Will I still encounter that
problem with bioknoppix?

Again, thanks. And this will be my last biobrew-unrelated question.
