I would like to add that the reason why Rayson suggests against OpenPBS =
is because it is no longer being updated and thus is not as stable as it =
could have been.

As an alternative to SGE (Sun Grid Engine), you can also look at Torque =
which is based on OpenPBS and is more stable.  I personally use SGE =
though.

If you are starting to learn OpenPBS, and no other users have
experience with it, then I would suggest you not to use OpenPBS at
all!!

You should use GridEngine, which is also free and opensource, but more
modern and the development is more active, and more features and more
active users.
