It depends on interconnect and how much you are willing to pay for it. 
For a homecook cluster any 24 node gigabit switch will do. You can even 
uplink two switches if you want. You can  tinker with the network setup 
in OS to reduce latency. Particularly helpful is to switch the 
autosensing off.
