The computational chemistry functionality (the libghemical part) is 
practically the same as it was in the earlier 2.1x versions. So, there is 
not yet UFF for example.  :(
What is new, is the inside of the Ghemical application, which is a lot 
cleaner and better organized as before (the separate liboglappth library 
and the Win32 port reflect this development). In the user's perspective, 
the new Ghemical application works pretty much as the old one did ; the 
only change I can remeber now is that the 3D image can be made rotate on 
the background in an old "Silicon Graphics" style.
So, to summarize, there is not much new, but the old stuff is packed in a 
more neat and clever way, so that it can be handled more easily in the 
future.
