Guess what I think is our best candidate for wrapping various command-line
"instruments" (analysis loci)?

You might have heard of "Expect", which is written for Tcl by Don Libes.  Tim
O'Mally wrote a "poor man's Expect" as a Python module.

exploop.py requires eventloop.py.  Both are attached, if anyone wants to play
around with them.
