In any case, what we need to do is have Overflow and GMS use THE SAME
core-to-GUI API.  Or at least something very similar.  That just makes it
easier for people working on the GUI, since we really need 2 GUIs that work
alike: one for Overflow and one for GMS.  This should be one 'point of
agreement'.  We need to make a whole list of these.
