Positional Base Frequencies

Positional Base Frequencies calculates the divergence of the positional base frequencies from random for the DNA sequence you enter, as described by Staden, 1990. The magnitude of the divergence value is dependent on the length of the sequence. A useful way to interpret the divergence value is to redo the analysis using a shuffled version of the DNA sequence. A coding sequence will often give a much higher divergence value than its shuffled counterpart.
