AnnHyb's help - Align sub-sequence

Align sub-sequence

The "Align sub-sequence" function allow the user to align a sub-sequence with the selected sequence.
This alignment is based on the Smith/Waterman algorithm and can handle gaps in both sequences
The sub-sequence must be longer than 3 nucleotides to be aligned

In the bottom window, enter the sequence that you want to find in the selected sequence
You can use IUB code for base degeneration

Select the check box if you want to search your sub-sequence in both senses (sense and antisense)
Click the "Search" button to begin the search

Results are displayed in the "Results" window
