The name AnnHyb is the contraction of Annealing and Hybridization.
The AnnHyb project started in 1997 and was originally developed in Visual Basic. Actually all AnnHyb code is written in Object Pascal (Borland-Delphi 7).
AnnHyb is free software, and is released under the GNU General Public License.
