[Biodevelopers] Linking Affymetrix gene codes to Gene Ontology terms

Hi all, 

I've been looking into ways to link-up Affymetrix gene codes to Gene Ontology 
terms. This might seem reasonabley straight foward but I've been having some 
difficulties. My approach has been to use the NCI's MatchMiner tool to 
generate gene names or GeneBank GI ids which I can then link into the GO terms 
throught the association files on the GO consortium's site. Is anyone familiar 
with this kind of problem? Any help or suggestions would be much appreciated.
