[BiO BB] parallel BLAST

Hi,
	Parallel does not necessarily mean distributed across more than one
machine.  NCBI's version of BLAST is parallelized nicely using threads and
can be run on multiprocessor machines.  The default is set to run using 4
CPUs if they are available because the performance/CPU ratio decreases when
running on more than 4 (last I heard).
