Hi Ravi,

Take a look at the ensembl website:

http://www.ensembl.org/
and
http://www.ensembl.org/Docs/wiki/html/EnsemblDocs/CurrentEnsemblSchema.html

Ensembl is the world open source standard for curating Human sequence
data, and you can download it yourself.
Tons of other documentation is available which would help.
