formatdb -i ecoli.nt -p F -o T

You should become familiar with regular BLAST before attempting 
mpiBLAST. See:
/opt/BioBrew/NCBI/6.1.0/doc/blast.txt
/opt/BioBrew/NCBI/6.1.0/doc/formatdb.txt
