[Bioclusters] Benchmark for a cluster

Hi, (just subscribed)

I tried googling trough the archive looking for references to general
benchmarks for bioinformatics. I couldn't one. 

I one exist will someone please mail me a link :)

And does anyone have a good reference to a taxonomy for cluster
software (schedulers, load balancers, kernel extension, that sort of thing).
