[pyorbit] question about the status of PyORBit

The GNUe project (http://www.gnue.org) needs a Python binding for ORBit, and
we've been looking at both PyORBit and python-orbit. Unfortunately, neither seem
to be in a particularly usable state.

It's quite possible that I've been looking in the wrong places for PyORBit, so
if there are resources available, could someone please tell me where I should be
looking?

If assistance is required, we're happy to contribute, once we know what's
needed.

Alternatively, are there any other resources available?   It seems unlikely that
noone else wants to use CORBA from Python programs, so we're hoping to find a
project that's either active, or can be revived. (A contact address to
python-orbit developers would be useful, if PyOrbit isn't being developed, as
well.)
