I am a graduate student pursuing a MS in Applied Statistics. I have an interest in bioinformatics and parallel computing (my BS is in Computer Science). I have been familiar with Bioinformatics.org for a while since my son became interested in biology and computers. I have worked in the data management area as well as the aerospace industry. I have a broad background in statistics in many engineering fields. I will be taking a course on bioinformatics next quarter at DePaul.
